Do Indian Citizens Need a Visa for Saudi Arabia?

Yes, Indian passport holders must obtain a valid Saudi Arabia visa before travelling to Saudi Arabia, regardless of whether the purpose of the visit is tourism, business, family visits, work, or religious travel (excluding specific arrangements for certain pilgrimage categories).

While Indian nationals are required to obtain a visa, citizens of some countries enjoy visa exemptions or simplified entry requirements. For example, nationals of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries—including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE)—can generally enter Saudi Arabia without applying for a visa in advance, subject to the latest immigration regulations.

Before planning your trip, it is advisable to verify the latest Saudi Arabia visa requirements, as entry policies and eligibility criteria may change over time.
